Campaign 1944 puts you in command of the most spectacular battles on the Western Front of WWII as the Allies fight their way from D-Day to Berlin . Six missions take you from Command Training across the fields, hedges and towns of France, Holland and Germany .
The forces at your disposal are varied and must be given their orders to fight as a team:
- Infantry – the all round combat unit equipped with rifles and grenades
- Machine Gunners – fast firing and deadly against incoming infantry
- Tanks – powerful armoured beasts. Slow firing but lethal in the open
- Bazookas – when an enemy tank is on the prowl you’ll bless these guys
Pin the opposition down with covering fire. Use terrain such as forest and hedges to sneak up on enemy positions. Even Line-of-Sight comes into effect preventing units from firing through buildings.
